Welcome to the Community Scheme Wiki
This wiki is about anything even remotely related to the programming
language Scheme (see what-is-scheme) and the people that use it.
That is a very general statement, and this wiki is meant to be very
general. It's for, by and about the community that has evolved about Scheme.
There are in fact quite a few scheme-wikis out there, but they are
mostly centered around the various implementations. The only one that
isn't is The-Scheme-Cookbook which has a pretty narrow mission on

Work in Progress
- 2018-01-04 NOTICE: The wiki is back to normal after an outage today. An issue was caused by the host server being force-rebooted by AWS due to a required security update. There were some issues in restarting the wiki, which hadn't been restarted in about 3 years (since the previous notice below.) Improvements are being made to make this more robust.
- 2015-03-24 NOTICE: Apologies for the server outage for the past couple of days. Since the server migration mentioned below, the site has been running in a Docker container. Two days ago, the container crashed due to heavy bot traffic consuming memory on the CGI-based Gauche Scheme server. Because the host server was unaffected, this did not trigger the current alerting mechanisms, so the outage went unnoticed for some time. Alerting will be improved to prevent this in future.
- (completed) 2015-03-01 The CSW site has been moved to a new server. This will resolve stability issues with the site. Further details to be added at server-migration and server-software-upgrade.
- (completed) The scheme-faq migration
